Do you like to read but have trouble finding books that fit your interests? Maybe reading isn't your favorite thing but you're willing to give it a shot if you have the right book? Are you an avid reader who is always looking for new suggestions?

I want to help you find your next favorite book.

I get asked frequently for book recommendations. Sharing books with others is, in my opinion, one of the best parts about reading. I love talking about books with others. That is, after all, one of the primary reasons I created this blog in the first place.

In recent years, I have gotten much pleasure putting together customized book lists for friends and family. This spring, one of my best friends suggested I make the practice a part of the blog. So, here it is: a way for me to connect with readers and to, hopefully, enhance your reading life as well.

I've put together a short survey which should help me get a sense of what you like to read. Fill it out and I'll get you a customized suggestion list of at least five books within two weeks at most.

I firmly believe that reading is for everyone; it's just a matter of pairing the right books with the right people. My husband, who has never been a big reader, is living proof. Get the right book in his hands and the man devours it. It's all a matter of solving the puzzle. That's what I'm here to help with!

*I'm taking a break from recommendations right now! Come back soon to get your list!*

I'm also adding a list of books here which I think everyone should read, regardless of your normal interests or genre preferences. Some books are simply too good, too impactful to pass up. Each of these books left an indelible mark on me as a reader and as a person. I hope they can do the same for you.

Half the Sky
To Kill A Mockingbird
